AGAINST ALL ODDS!
's 22nd Anniversary Virtual Gala
The money you give to AGAINST ALL ODDS! will help minority students and immigrant families break the cycle of poverty!
Join 300 Edu-Futuro guests and stakeholders including elected officials, school board members, and administrators from Fairfax, Arlington, and Prince William Counties, and the City of Alexandria. Celebrate the success of first-generation college-bound students, and the wellbeing of immigrant and Latino families!
#AgainstAllOdds!
Against All Odds! will spotlight the hard work and academic success of the students in the Emerging Leaders Program (ELP), and their families' resilience. Each year, more than 500 high school youth partake in this college readiness series which matches students with mentors and helps them prepare for college. Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, 47 high school seniors graduated from ELP II last spring and collectively won $2.5M in scholarships for their first year of college and $5.5M in four-year renewable college scholarships and financial aid!
