The tournament format is similar to the World Cup with double elimination for the top teams. We will have 16 teams total. Each team can have four or five players, with four players playing at one time. No goalkeeper. Teams will be guaranteed to play three matches. There will be 4 groups and game points are based on wins (3), ties (1), or losses(0). Each game is 30 minutes long.
Play, have fun, and support a great cause: All proceeds will fund scholarships that will be awarded to high school students from Arlington, Fairfax, and Prince William County Public Schools in Edu-Futuro's Emerging Leaders Program (ELP).
Only one player needs to fill out the registration form for each team, but all players are required to acknowledge and sign the waiver to play.

Edu-Futuro has developed a research-based two-generation approach that ensures immigrant youth and families attain postsecondary goals, improve long-term financial stability, and strengthen interfamily cohesiveness. We're raising money for scholarships that will be awarded to high school students who will attend our Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) from Arlington, Fairfax, and Prince William County Public Schools. The scholarships will be presented at the ELP graduation ceremony on November 18th.

If you are interested in being a sponsor for the tournament, there are four sponsorship tiers- Amateur, Pro, Elite, and champion. Each sponsorship tier comes with its own benefits for organizations that give! For more information on each sponsorship tier, please read below, and consider that you have to CONFIRM your participation before September 20th if you want your logo on the T-shirts. The Sponsorship tiers are described in more detail below, and a Sponsorship application form can be found here. Payment can be done through this portal or by check.
Every Registration consists of a 3-step process:

Team Registration
Register a team of 4 or 5 players. Only one person needs to fill out the registration form for your team, but all players must acknowledge and sign the waiver to play (waiver link: https://forms.gle/7FYQjJKhUsduZT8H6)
Amateur Sponsorship
The Amateur level at $250 entitles the sponsor to send one (1) co-ed team of four or five people to play at the mini soccer tournament, and will cover one half $500 scholarship. Your logo will be displayed on the players' shirts and on our website.
Pro Sponsorship
The Pro level at $500 entitles the sponsor to send up to two (2) co-ed teams of four or five people each to play at the mini soccer tournament, and will cover one (1) $500 scholarship. Your logo will be displayed on the players' shirts, our website, and social media.
Elite Sponsorship
The Elite level at $1,000 entitles the sponsor to bring up to co-ed teams three teams (3) of four or five people each to play at the mini-soccer tournament, and will cover one full (1) $1,000 scholarship. Your logo will be displayed on the players' shirts, our website (with a link to your organization's website), social media, and all printed materials. You will also have a chance to make opening remarks on the day of the event.
Champion Sponsorship
The Champion level at $2,500 entitles the sponsor to bring up to seven (7) co-ed teams of four or five people to play at the mini soccer tournament, and will cover two and a half (2 1/2) $1,000 scholarship. Your logo will be prominently displayed on the players' shirts, our website (with a link to your organization's website), social media, and all printed materials. You will also have a chance to make opening remarks on the day of the event. You, or a representative of your organization whom you designate, will be invited onstage to present the scholarship to the winning student at the November ELP Graduation ceremony.

- Your organization’s logo will be included in our marketing and outreach campaign material.
- Social media posts (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) will include your organization's logo.

- Your logo will be placed in our newsletter which is distributed to all Edu-Futuro staff, volunteers, and a larger audience.
- Your logo will be displayed on Edu-Futuro soccer tournament t-shirts that will be distributed (date restrictions apply).
- Champion Sponsors can register up to 7 teams of 4-5 players; Elite Sponsors can register up to 3 teams of 4-5 players; Pro Sponsors can register up to 2 teams of 4-5 people and Amateur Sponsors can register 1 team of 4-5 players.
