Your donation is very much appreciated by many families affected by Covid-19.
On March 23, 2020, Virginia’s Governor Ralph Northam announced that all public schools in the Commonwealth of Virginia will remain closed for the remainder of the school year. While the public schools in Arlington, Fairfax, the City of Alexandria, and Prince William County adapted for distance instruction, Edu-Futuro understood that some of the families we serve in Northern Virginia face many challenges. We work together with the public schools to make sure that students and their families don’t get behind.
Edu-Futuro has implemented a plan to reach out directly to the families we serve to assess their immediate needs and continue providing direct services throughout the disruption caused by COVID-19. Our staff is working remotely and is available to provide support to these families. We continue working with local governments and other nonprofit partners to coordinate services as needed.
As part of these efforts, Edu-Futuro has established the COVID-19 Emergency Assistance Fund.
