These are a few examples of how it will be used specifically:

$100 covers an evening of child-care expenses, allowing low-income immigrant parents to attend a parenting class.
$250 ensures the participation of 5 middle-school students in a regional Robotics VEX IQ competition.
$500 pays for one Emerging Leaders Program Part I (ELP-I) scholarship competition.
$750 supports the speech competition prizes given to ELP-I students in one year.
$1,500 gives 50 high-school students the opportunity to go on a college visit.
$2,500 provides five college scholarships t the winners of one Emerging leaders Program (ELP) I session's scholarship competitions.
$5,000 allows 10 high-school students to receive transportation stipends for the completion of 120-hour internships.
