This summer camp includes fun educational activities aimed to support children learning Spanish at different levels.
3. Free resources in Spanish: One of our former parents is launching a YouTube channel crafted for children, taught by children (an ex-student of our Spanish School), with content designed by an English teacher. This is a fun venue to learn Spanish while listening to native speakers. It is aimed to explore the language by building the foundational blocks, enhancing communication skills, and accelerating early conversation. Check it out here!

Build a Path to College - Register Now for ELP I and Compete for Scholarships with a Top Prize of $2,000!
All students interested in taking the critical first step towards a life-changing college education can register for Edu-Futuro’s free Emerging Leaders Program I (ELP I), which will begin a new spring session on April 10, 2021. Parents are also encouraged to register their children.
The four-week ELP I curriculum provides youth in grades 9-11 with a toolkit of integrative, interdisciplinary, and transferable skills and strategies to support them in their path towards becoming leaders of their own futures. From the onset of the program, students brainstorm and design a unique roadmap for their professional and personal goals in the Vision for Life workshop. Additionally, students will see the college-to-job pipeline connection in our Journey to the Future workshop, where they will explore how their college plans connect with potential careers. Beyond professional development, students will also be able to identify community issues personally important to them and understand their potential role as changemakers in the Civic Engagement workshop.
This year, Edu-Futuro will give ELP I students the opportunity to participate in the Scholarship Competition! Three great scholarship prizes will be available -- $2,000 for first-place, $1,500 for second-place, and $500 for third-place. For the duration of the ELP I program, students will be supported by a mentor who will facilitate small group discussions of 4-6 participants in each workshop. Much more than a college-preparedness program, ELP I offers students a journey towards self-discovery.

Strengthening Families Program: Bringing Parents & Children Closer Together
One of the most important -- and popular -- workshop series offered by Edu-Futuro’s Parents Empowerment Services (PES) is the Strengthening Families Program (SFP), which helps to reduce risky behaviors in youth 10 to 14 years of age. Through seven different sessions attended by both parents and youth, SFP provides mothers, fathers, and guardians with specific strategies to improve communication with their children so that families experience fewer conflicts and teens are better prepared to resist negative peer pressure.
